Wrath boons that deal BIG damage are pretty good too, thinking Zeus or Dyonisus. Athena's death defiance boon is also pretty crucial, since if you have 6 death defiances that bring you up to 40% health, well, you basically have 240% more health.
After dealing with the minotaur just dash circles around Theseus and throw in your cast whenever you have it up. It's unsurprisingly good, both for rooms and for Asterius.Īres cast, dash and wrath are THE most effective thing in this fight. For his charging attack, stand close to a wall (not pillars, pillars are assholes that don't block properly) and dash away at the last second. I'm not very good at the game either, so I try to gather as much health as I can with centaur hearts and spiked collar keepsake, which helps tank some of the hits that I fail to dodge.ĭon't be afraid of the mid-floor bull fight, it actually makes the final bossfight a lot easier, both because you learn Asterius' attacks and you chunk 1/4th of his health. Then when he's stopped, try to attack him with something ranged from afar, and watch out for those blast waves and double attacks (sometimes he slams down towards you then immediately does it again). If you don't have good dash damage, try to dash through close to the columns so he'll slam into them and stop. You can basically dash around the edge of the room while he's chasing you, and let the dash damage do most of the work (just watch out for those gorgon head projectiles, but with Athena dash you can deflect them). In general for the Minotaur, I'd say invest in a good dash boon that deals damage.
What weapon are you using? I had an easier time with the shield and the rail, but that probably varies based on the player.
It's still high but a bit more doable now. Just to make sure, you're on the latest update right? 'Cause they lowered the health in one of the recent patches.
